The main issue of knowing if your property is suitable for a conversion is the head clearance in your existing loft space. To meet Building Regulations there must be a minimum head clearance of at least 2 metres in the highest point of your loft. Ideally you need to determine if you have this require head clearance before you arrange a visit.

They will help you to incorporate any specific requirements you may have into a design that will ensure you get the most from the additional living space. We go to great lengths to produce designs which are sympathetic to the character of your existing building.
We aim to maximize the convertible space in your loft by including cupboards and wardrobes. We design storage specifically to the individual dimensions of your new rooms.

We use a fully independent floor of beams. Our engineers calculate the splice details for the building control department. We may incorporate a mesh cradle and fire blanket if specified by the building control officer. At Gallery we use a tri-iso insulation which is fixed to the rafters, battened and then boarded. This provides the correct insulation and ventilation.
Your Loft conversion or extension will be constructed to comply with current building regulations standards.
We use a linked smoke detection system for all loft conversions, great news as your existing doors don't need to be replaced with fire doors!
A standard loft bedroom is fitted with 4 X double sockets, 4 X lights. Our design team will work to accommodate all your specific requirements when on site. We will provide you the client with a NIEC Certification on completion.
At Gallery, our standard loft bedroom would be fitted with a radiator connected to your existing heating system. If you do not have a combination boiler, there may be problems with water pressure.
